DRIBOOST® Antiperspirant Wipes Help & Tips

Get the most out of your SweatBlock DRIBOOST® Antiperspirant Wipes by following the use instructions and best practices below...

- IMPORTANT! -

SweatBlock can cause burning or irritation if not used as directed. To reduce the chance of irritation and increase the chance of success:

1. DO NOT apply immediately after shaving.

2. DO NOT apply to wet, damp or sweaty skin surface.

3. AVOID rubbing the wipe aggressively to the skin.

1. APPLY AT NIGHT / BEDTIME

For best results, apply at night or bedtime. This will give SweatBlock sufficient time to create a strong block while your sweat glands are least active. (usually during sleep)

2. APPLY TO CLEAN, DRY SKIN

Dab a SweatBlock towelette to clean, dry skin. DO NOT RUB. Rubbing will cause irritation. For sensitive skin, test a small area before complete application.

3. ALLOW SWEATBLOCK TO DRY

Allow the SweatBlock formula to air dry on skin, then GO TO BED. Applying at bedtime allows SweatBlock to work its magic while you and your sweat glands are less active.

4. IN THE MORNING, WASH TREATED AREAS

In the morning, wash treated areas with soap and water. You’ll be able to shower, bathe, swim, exercise, etc… without reducing SweatBlock effectiveness.

 Pro Tips for Best Results

FIRST-TIME USER? APPLY 2-4 NIGHTS FOR BEST RESULTS

If results aren’t achieved after first use, apply nightly until successful. First time users should apply 2-4 nights consecutively until results are achieved, then apply weekly or as needed.

TRIM OR SHAVE ARMPIT HAIR

When applying SweatBlock, it must have optimal contact with the skin. Not surprisingly, unruly underarm hair can get in the way. If underarm hair is thick, consider trimming or shaving. If you shave, wait at least 24 hours before applying SweatBlock. Do not apply to irritated or broken skin.

APPLY TO CLEAN & DRY SKIN

Before you apply SweatBlock (or any antiperspirant), you need to make sure your skin is clean and completely dry. ANY moisture or deodorant residue could prevent SweatBlock from working and likely cause unwanted skin irritation.

USE DEODORANT WITH SWEATBLOCK

SweatBlock wipes are incredibly effecient at stopping sweat and the sweat that causes foul body odor, but they aren't built for deodorizing. For that reason, we recommend using a deodorant along with SweatBlock for max sweat and odor protection. Apply the wipes at night.

GOT NIGHT SWEATS?

If you experience night sweating, it can prevent SweatBlock from being effective during night-time application. If possible, monitor your sweating patterns to identify a 4-5 hour period when your sweat glands are less active. Apply during these periods of less sweating to ensure best results.

Frequently asked questions

How does SweatBlock work?

SweatBlock is a clinical strength antiperspirant developed to reduce excessive underarm sweating. SweatBlock is made with aluminum chloride, which is stronger than what's found with over-the-counter antiperspirants. It works by blocking the sweat glands... hence the name "Sweat Block". When applied to skin, the SweatBlock formula goes into the ducts of the sweat glands, makes them swell, and prevents the sweat from escaping. The end result... dry underarms and dry shirts.

Is SweatBlock Safe?

Yes, SweatBlock is safe. It was developed by a doctor and is one of the most recommended OTC treatments for excessive sweating. The SweatBlock formula follows all FDA guidelines for an OTC clinical antiperspirant.

Does SweatBlock have aluminum?

Yes, Aluminum is the active ingredient in SweatBlock (and other antiperspirants) that effectively controls sweat. Some people worry about aluminum and its potential health risks. But contrary to popular belief, aluminum salts found in antiperspirants and deodorants are safe.

Can SweatBlock be used on sensitive skin?

Yes. But SweatBlock is very strong and can cause irritation if not used correctly. It's always best to test on a small area of skin before full application. SweatBlock also contains botanical extracts, vitamin E, and other ingredients to reduce the likelihood of irritation. It is common for irritation to subside with regular usage.

Can I use deodorant with SweatBlock?

Yes. You can use deodorant with SweatBlock. DO NOT apply deodorant immediately before or after applying SweatBlock wipes. For best results, apply SweatBlock Wipes at night and deodorant in the morning, after you've showered. We recommend using SweatBlock Deodorant with our SweatBlock wipes for maximum sweat and odor protection.

Can I apply SweatBlock to other body parts?

SweatBlock was originally developed for underarm sweat control, but many of our customers report success when using SweatBlock to stop sweat on other body areas like hands, feet, face, back and neck. However, these individual results are not guaranteed for every person. For this reason our 100-day guarantee only applies to underarm use.

How often should you apply SweatBlock?

For most, SweatBlock is a once-a-week application. First time SweatBlock users may need to apply 3-4 days in a row to get the desired results and then apply weekly or as needed.

Why Wipes?

Using a wipe allows you to hyper-target the treatment areas on your body with just the right amount of SweatBlock formula. It can also reduce the irritation caused by the “rubbing-in” and agitation that is common with stronger antiperspirants.
